Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American performer and actress. The parents of Kristen Bell include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was found at a young age. When she was in 1992, the actress appeared at her first audition and won a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up at an agency prior to when she turned 13; she later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Also, she began acting lessons in private at that time. Bell was in a role of minor importance that was not credited to her for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in drama and music club. She was cast as Dorothy in the production for high school of The Wizard of Oz. Bell was a student at an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell completed her studies in 2001, resigned her studies at the university to play the role Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she was the first to make her credit debut with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. But the film cut her character from the film and her appearance was only in the credits. In 2002, Bell was as a character in the Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
