Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her role as the protagonist in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Additionally, she is known for her film roles, she has appeared in "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born into a family that had no connection to entertainment in any way to her family tree, is the daughter of a clinical therapist and the proprietor of an Ice Cream Parlor. When her parents separated in 1990, she enrolled at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and graduated with an BA in Comparative Arts. When she began her career, she was only 12 when performed on stage in the production of an opera called "Amahl's Night Visitor". Following her stage debut, McCormack landed parts in small-screen as well as large-screen productions. McCormack, today recognized as one Hollywood's most versatile performers. Married to producer cum director Michael Morris, she has three daughters.
