Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites you discover her worldview through her cuisine. Her food inspires curiosity. This was the result after she stepped outside of her Long Island suburbs and entered the culturally rich scene that is Los Angeles. Carnitas and Cavatellis within the same menu is her ideology. However, what is consistent throughout her menu is a singular vision towards the future, while also reminiscing about the old. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso and is influenced by her Italian American tradition. The restaurant was greeted with a warm welcome. Lofaso is lauded by her fans for her rendition of traditional Italian cuisine. Lofaso is described by a lot of people as a local restaurant that consistently serves dishes that are authentic, tasty and inviting. Lofaso apprenticed under culinary legends and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she was not afraid to take extraordinary risks to be true to her own instincts. She soon rose to the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and then went on to work closely with celebs in several Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso worked with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, the first bar to open in Studio City. With Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found an appropriate home. Lofaso was able to achieve the creativity she craved thanks to her partnership. Black Market doesn't have one particular focus. This is the intention. The first course could be potatoes chips, peppers and dill, followed by Korean meatballs and wings. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the foundation of these bold flavors. Lofaso assesses the success she has had throughout her career by her ability to get to know her audience well and be authentic to who she is. Apart from her memorable appearances of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her distinctiveness was also praised outside of the kitchen. Today she is still awe-inspiring on the screen in her role as a CNBC judge and recurring role on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso published The Busy Mom's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of how she faced challenges while she studied at The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso says that the inspiration behind all of her success originates from her kitchen. This is how she keeps a pulse on current events. Chefletics revolutionizes the look of cookwear by focusing on style and functionality. What matters to Lofaso is sticking to the vision you have set. With this goal, she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering, which will convey a more tailored approach to providing clients with an experience that is uniquely personal.
